Apia Concrete Products Limited (ACP), “The Foundation of Samoa” was established in 1973, when the first semi-automated block plant was commissioned on the 22 June 1973 by the late Honourable Prime Minister, Mataafa Faumuina Mulinu’u II. We are a fully owned and operated Tupua Fred W. Wetzell family company. 

Our Head Office and main yard is located in the Vaitele Industrial Zone, three miles from the centre of Apia. Occupying thirteen acres, ACP strives to provide quality products and services, ranging from 45 different concrete blocks, ready-mixed concrete, Golden Bay New Zealand cement, sands, aggregates, crusher dust, reinforcing steel, mesh wire, tie wire, formply, exterior plywood, fibre cement board, visqueen (polythene), single & double sided sisalation, chicken wire,  and other hardware items.

We pride ourselves with our fleet of more than twenty Hino trucks, from, delivery flat bed, dump and Ready-mix agitator trucks, our Saleimoa Quarry and rock crushing plant, and machine and equipment hire - excavators, forklifts, front end loaders and trucks.

Over the years ACP has been a team player in the development of Samoa working with many of our top local contractors as well as overseas companies, ranging from multi-story buildings, hotels and resorts, temples and churches, wharves and a marina, to schools and residential homes across the islands of Samoa.

Our products from time to time have been sent to our neighbours in American Samoa, the Kingdom of Tonga, Nauru and regularly to the Tokelau Islands.

ACP employs more than eighty staff of whom the majority have been with our company from between ten and thirty plus years.

Apia Concrete Products also runs a 500 acre plantation on the BIG island of Savaii, Lata Plantation Development which currently employs more than twenty staff. It is located on the southern part of the island, highly elevated above sea level, between the villages of Taga and Sala’ilua, with one hundred plus head of cattle, 100 acres in coconut trees, vegetable and fruit gardens, and pure artesian water which is pumped from over 100 metres below the ground for bottling and distribution around the BIG island.
